This week we didn't have class so I used the time to reset my scene after I lost the first one. I found an image on Pinterest of a setting that I really liked. The architecture style is ecological brutalism. I added some free plant assets from the web and did some render tests. This environment will be quite good for my sculpture half.

I also looked at the fluid shot, and thought of how I could make the setting more interesting by introducing other effects we learned over the semester. I played with the MASH settings on a sphere and created a rotating, floating bubbly scene which was quite cool. I feel I could add some stringy nparticles to it too to be like the strings of a raw egg yolk.

A video I was influenced by to add the MASH network (originally I was going to also do particles but I found that the bigger the orbs, the more interesting the scene looked).

Then I moved on to starting to create my character's effects.

Based on my knowledge from my shatter effect experimentation in Week 5, I chose the moment I wanted the sculpture to break apart which is when she jumps up.

From this pose, I created a shatter of 200 pieces.

I removed the gravity force and ramped up the wind so the shattered pieces explode apart in random directions.

And here's what it looks like rendered.
