I had a lot of fun with some experimenting this week. The outcome of my testing was really satisfying.
First I looked at different shader options for my bubbles. Under the aistandard surface presets, I tried Frosted Glass, Bulb, Bubble and Regular Colour (pictured in order). I found it really hard to see the Clear Water shader on the character, so I needed to add more lights.

I created a seperate setting file for the 'bubble void' made with MASH. In the scene you can see the sphere mesh light that emits blue light and the flat area lights that emit white light.

This was the result. As you can see, it's a lot easier to see the body (now made of chrome instead of water as that shader had a better effect at representing the egg white) and the orange yolk heart.

Another thing I did this week was set up the switch between the sculpture shader and the water shader for my character. I followed a tutorial from YouTube on aimixshaders and plugged in my chrome and stone shaders, then keyed it to animate the switch between materials as she breaks apart.

Finally I worked on timing my dance to my chosen music. I took the song and edited it in Premiere Pro to speed it up and pitch it higher until I was happy.

I made a mistake where I used referencing to put my character into my scene and then resized her, but when I used the time editor in the reference file to edit her animation, it altered the reference and reverted her back to her original size in the setting file which was extremely annoying. Oh well, I'll attempt to redo the time editing again within the scene file as I need to make it 30 seconds as well.
